About Sky Live
Sky has developed the Sky Live interactive camera to compliment Sky Glass. It magnetically snaps to the top of your Sky Glass TV and uses body tracking to enable its interactive capabilities. Sky Live boasts a 4K wide-field lens, noise cancellation and an ambient light sensor – delivering everything in 4K high definition. A growing number of gaming apps, fitness programs and Video Calling services ensure Sky Live future proofs any household entertainment and communication needs for the years to come.
Sky Live apps can be divided into four main categories; Video Call, Play, Watch Together and Workout.
- Video Call
- You can use Sky Live to make Zoom calls direct from your Sky Glass TV to any device used by your friends, family or colleagues. Using the 4K wide-angle camera, Auto-tracking and your 4K Sky Glass TV, your video calls will be sent and received in great detail.
- Sky Live comes with many immersive interactive games as well as some classics – all designed specifically for Sky Glass with the Live camera.
- Join friends and family as you share movie and TV experiences together. Watch Together utilises Video calling so you can chat and discuss shows, pause and rewind live TV as if in the same room.
- Sky Live comes with a new app called Mvmnt in partnership with fitness brand, WithU. The app used body-tracking via your Sky Live camera to analyse, count and advise you on your workouts. Sky Live: Requires Sky Ultimate TV (Sky Entertainment and Netflix), from £26pm on 18m contract, or 29pm on a 31 day rolling contract. Subject to status and credit check. £14pm for 43” Sky Glass and £6pm for Sky Live on 48 month interest free loan. £10 upfront payment. Broadband min. recommended speed: 30mbps. Watch together: Sky Glass, Sky Live and relevant Sky TV subs required. Energy Efficiency rating of G on scale of A-G. Requires broadband with min. recommended speeds: 30mbps download, 5mbps upload. Sky Live also available to purchase without a loan. Watch Together: Everyone watching must have Sky Glass, Sky Live and relevant Sky TV subscription. Third party subscriptions required for some features. Selected live channels and Sky video on demand content available in UK and ROI only.
